Local Area Designated Officer (LADO) Awareness Raising Session

Course objectives

The session will:

  • give you information about the role of the Designated Officer
  • ensure you know what to do if there is an allegation against a professional
  • help you to keep children safe from adults they come into contact with in organised environments

  • Monday 11th November 2019 from 10.30am - 12.00pm, Gun Wharf, Chatham
  • Thursday 16th January 2020, 10.30am - 12.00pm, Gun Wharf, Chatham
  • Thursday 2nd April 2020, 10.30am - 12.00pm, Gun Wharf, Chatham
  • Thursday 24th September 2020, 10.30am - 12.00pm, Gun Wharf, Chatham

Parking

Unfortunately, parking is not available to delegates at Gun Wharf. However parking is available within a short walk. Lunch is not provided but delegates are welcome to use the on-site café facilities. 

Cancellation policy

Places on MSCB courses are limited. If you can’t attend a course for any reason you must tell us at least 5 working days before the course date.

Tell us be emailing mscbtraining@medway.gov.uk or by giving written notification. If you fail to tell the MSCB, a cancellation charge of £100 may apply.
