Welcome to.....
.....the Medway Safeguarding Children Board website.
SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYBODY'S RESPONSIBILITY
The MSCB is a statutory multi agency organisation which brings together agencies who work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in Medway.
Children can only be safeguarded properly if agencies work effectively together. Medway Safeguarding Children Board is designed to help ensure that this happens.
The MSCB includes representatives of Medway Council, all Medway health bodies, Kent Police, Kent Probation, Medway schools, voluntary organisations and many others. For details of MSCB's structure and membership, click here.
To return to this page from anywhere on the site, just click on the MSCB logo in the top left corner.
This site provides information for everyone in Medway who is concerned about safeguarding children and meeting their needs. That particularly includes children, parents, and everyone in Medway whose work brings them into contact with children and families. You will therefore find the following here:
- * Kent and Medway Safeguarding Children procedures
* The MSCB programme of multi-agency safeguarding training
* Practice Guidance on how to write your own CP policies and procedures if you are a small or voluntary organisation
*Practice guidance on Serious Case Reviews
*Guidance for parents about e-safety
*the MSCB's Annual Report
*Information about CP Conferences, Core Groups and Child Protection Plans
